Welcome to our little world filled with beautiful wallpapers, fabrics and accessorises. About us Engelska Tapetmagasinet was founded 1899 and we have sold wallpaper since then. We have an ambition to specialize in designer wallpaper that has high quality. We introduced an internet shop in 2007 to be able to give more people the chance to see our wide assortment of wallpaper and fabrics. We have always strived to be independent and therefore don’t belong to any chain. This to be able to offer the products that we believe in ourselves. Today we are mainly focused towards Swedish customers but we can also deliver to the rest of EU. Today we can’t deliver direct to Norway instead we deliver to the closest post-office in Sweden by something called POSTE RESTANTE. Our assortment In our web shop we want to show our customers a wide selection of wallpapers and a selection of fabrics that we sell in our shop in Gothenburg, Sweden. The products in the webbshop are only a part of our available products. If the product you are looking for is not in the shop please contact us at info@engelskatapetmagasinet.se and we will do our best to be able to deliver it to you. How to order: To order contact us by email at info@engelskatapetmagasinet.se (see below for more contact information). Let us know what you want and we will do our best to fulfill your request. You will be given the total price before payment. Orders are binding after we have received full payment. Should we not be able to deliver the articles within the specified time, you will be given the option to cancel the order, in which case the full amount will be repaid, or to go ahead with the order. All items are subject to availability. Validly stated prices on our website remain in effect for so long as the merchandise is available or as otherwise stated on our website. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available. For Norway: Today we can’t deliver direct to Norway instead we deliver to the closest post-office in Sweden by something called POSTE RESTANTE. You will then have to pick up the parcel at the post office. If you understand Swedish you can order in the web shop, if not follow the instructions for the rest of EU. No extra charges are added except the standard shipping cost of 140 SEK for orders under 1900 SEK. Payment For orders outside Sweden we only accept payment in advance. As you place an order we will give you our bank details where to transfer the payment together with information on shipping costs and expected delivery time. Price All prices are displayed including 25% Swedish tax and exclusive of delivery charges. The total cost of your order is the price of the merchandise ordered plus shipping costs. Shipping costs Depends on the destination and weight. For Poste Restante delivery in Sweden we only add a shipping cost of 140:- SEK if the order is under 1900 SEK (the same as in the web shop). For delivery in the rest of EU the shipping cost that we add will depend on the weight of the parcel. Typical cost will be for 1-2 kilos 325 SEK, for 3-5 kilo 435 SEK and 6-10 kilo 615 SEK. The weight of a roll of wallpaper will depend but will usually be 1 kilo. The delivery will be to your closest post office. Delivery time Depends on the product, for item in stock approx. 1 week, for others normally between 2 to 3 weeks. Pictures As the actual colors you see will depend on your personal computer equipment; we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any color will accurately reflect the color of the merchandise on delivery. If you are unsure we then strongly recommend that you order a sample from us. All descriptions of the items on the website have been made in good faith according to our own observations but are subjective since colors are perceived differently. They should therefore be seen as approximate descriptions. The color of the wallpaper/fabric can also vary between different manufacturings, so called batches. With deliveries of complementary additions we can’t guarantee the same batch. Damaged or faulty goods You should inspect the merchandise within 8 days upon receipt. Should there be any visible damages, contact us first at info@engelskatapetmagasinet.seinfo@engelskatapetmagasinet.se and send a sample of the damage. Damaged goods are in the first hand replaced by new goods, if this is not possible a complete refund is made for the damaged goods. We will cover eventual transport cost but no further costs. Every wallpaper roll/fabric should be inspected before use and make sure all wallpaper rolls of the same kind has the same print/batch number and are in good condition. If the product is visible damaged at the delivery then do not accept it. Returns and Exchanges We will accept 14 days right of return from time of reception of products that we have in stock. We regret that we cannot give any right of return for non-stocked item. The wrapping should be intact and not broken with all labels still intact. Credit is given when the product has arrived back to us. Contact us first before you return anything at info@engelskatapetmagasinet.se. The buyer pays all shipping costs Please use our sample service if you are unsure before you order. Other Wrongful use of our products, for example incorrect hanging of wallpaper doesn’t qualify as right for return. Please take care to follow the manufacturer’s recommendation for the wallpaper. Before cutting and hanging wallpapers please inspect every roll to ensure that they have the same batch number, and are in good condition. Please return any defective roll with its label. Since it’s outside our control Engelska Tapetmagasinet does not compensate any external costs due to delayed shipments or damaged/faulty goods. Please control the goods before use and order in as good time as possible. Mistakes Mistakes occasionally happen, through human or other error. We have a great track record of satisfied customers since we opened in 1899. It is a record that we want to continue. All of us at Engelska Tapetmagsinet want you to be happy with your purchase.
